Who am I?

I am Clark Eileen Atkinson (she/her), and I act because, simply put, I love it. It’s the joy of connecting with others and telling stories that are bigger than ourselves.

Through my work, I aim to make the world feel a little brighter, a little smaller, and a lot more connected. Acting isn’t just a job for me—it’s a way to explore new perspectives and show the beauty of lived realities with respect, authenticity, and a dash of flair.

To me, performance is “a deep expression of spiritualism, love, and honor,” with a whole lot of joy and playfulness thrown in for good measure. My process is anything but rigid; I’m all about specificity and sensitivity while having fun with the work and discovering the magic in every role.

As a mixed-race, first-generation, queer artist, I bring a one-of-a-kind perspective to the table. I feel a strong pull to honor my ancestors by pushing boundaries and opening doors for more diverse voices in theater and film. I want to share stories that matter, stories that introduce fresh perspectives and shake up the status quo.
